Service Description 

For School of Nursing Faculty and Staff requesting asstiance iwth the School of Nursing VALT system. This is the system that records video in the School of Nursing Labs. 

Self-Service

• Check the knowledge base
• Have you tried rebooting your device if applicable 
• Check UB IT Alerts to see the status of UB IT Services (There may be delays in the alert being posted)
• Check the UB IT Phishing Scam and the UB IT Report a Phishing Attempt Page
• Check the status of the following cloud services: Box, Microsoft 365 (including email, and OneDrive), Panopto, UB Learns (Brightspace), Zoom

Roles and Responsibilities

Requester Responsibilities:

• Provide a detailed description of the request in the ticket form

Technology Services Responsibilities:

• Communicate the status of the request to the user as needed.
