The Office of Medical Computing provides computing services to the medical school departments, divisions, centers, faculty, and staff. Our team of network analysts, user support specialists, and software developers work together to provide support for personal computing, server administration, and software developmental needs. We will continue to evolve and grow to meet the educational, research and administrative computing demands for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

The Strategic Portfolio Management Office (SPMO) is responsible for providing a shared decision-making structure and processes to ensure that UB’s finite technology resources are optimally focused to meet university-wide strategic goals, as well as, overseeing the IT portfolio functions that drive strategy, planning, execution and delivery across departmental and enterprise projects.
